Released June 9, 2020
Privacy Screen - Admins now have the ability to control the viewing (unmasking) of passwords based on a specified domain. This policy is enforceable by the Admin for individual domains within each of their Generated Password Complexity settings by enabling "Apply Privacy Screen".
Master Password Re-entry Enforcement - This role enforcement allows Admins to require their users to re-enter their Master Password in order to unmask or copy a password. Once unmasked, the password will be re-masked after 30 seconds have passed.
Fixed: Extension window appears after a user is prompted to re-enter their master password in an attempt to edit a record, payment card or address.
Fixed: User is prompted to re-enter their master password twice when attempting to edit a record.
Fixed: When a user logs into Google via the extension, Google Sheets crashes with an error message.
Fixed: When logging in with SSO and selecting "Require code every 30 days for Two-Factor Authentication", user is incorrectly prompted for verification code at next login.
Released May 19, 2020
Support for Duo Push with SSO Login - Duo Push authentication is now supported for users who login to Keeper's Safari extension using SSO.
Fixed: KeeperFill unnecessarily prompts the user to login when they attempt to login to an Identify Provider through the popup window.
Fixed: Keeper lock does not appear in Twitter login fields when a Keeper record for Twitter does not exist.
Fixed: Crash occurs when a shared folder is created for an Enterprise account.
Released April 16, 2020
Fixed: The "Open in Vault" action located in the the record detail view of the Safari extension, incorrectly directs users to the desktop app instead of the Web Vault.
Fixed: Following an SSO login to the Web Vault, the users domain is not retained by the Safari extension, prompting the user to enter their Master password at the extension login screen.
Fixed: User email addresses are not saving in the Safari extension when they log into Keeper through the Web Vault.
Fixed: The Safari extension "Create an Account" button is unresponsive and fails to direct the user to the Keeper Desktop App.
Released March 25, 2020
Fixed: Accounts with Smartwatch (Keeper DNA) activated for 2FA (Two-factor authentication) experience a continuous reset of the browser extension when user denies the initial push request. This causes endless push notifications to occur until user accepts.
Fixed: Infinite loop occurs when autofilling an Instagram record containing an authenticator app's 2FA code (two-factor authentication).
Fixed: When logging into their web vault, users are not also automatically logged into the Safari browser extension as expected, and vice versa (EU accounts).
Released February 5, 2020
Fixed: Incorrect error message received when user attempts to login without a network connection.
Fixed: Within the Admin Console, "Reporting & Alerts" section, certain events via the Safari extension are not being recorded in the recent activity log.
Fixed: User logins are auto-filling prior to the user receiving the "Prompt to Fill" request.
Released January 2, 2020
Keyboard Shortcut to Browser Extension Toolbar + Automatic Search Upon Typing - This feature further streamlines the ability to quickly open the browser extension as well as automate the use of the search bar upon typing, essentially eliminating the need for mouse clicks.
Command+Shift+k (for Mac OS) will automatically open the browser extension toolbar.
Once the browser extension is open, the user can simply begin typing their search terms to utilize the search function.
Arrow Key and Enter Functionalities - Users have the ability to navigate the search results menu within the browser extension window with enhanced Arrow Key and Enter Functionalities.
Up and Down Arrows navigate between items.
Right Arrow expands and shrinks highlighted items.
Highlighted items can be filled upon pressing enter.
Match on Subdomain Setting - This release introduces a new setting that enables the in-page extension to recognize and differentiate a record's subdomain from its domain.
Only records that match the subdomain of the page visited will be populated into the in-page extension window upon log in.
Alternatively, if no records exist for the subdomain of the page visited but they do for the domain, the in-page extension window will populate all of the existing records containing that domain.
Fixed: Once configured, custom hotkeys for KeeperFill are not functioning properly when user closes and reopens app.
Fixed: Desktop version does not retain the device token for two-factor authentication if a Web Vault enforcement is set (Enterprise customers).
Fixed: Issues regarding Touch ID, including the added visibility of a prompt to initiate Touch ID at the login screen.
Release Date ETA: July 21, 2019
This is a feature and bug fix release for the Safari browser extension. Submitted to Apple on July 19, 2019 and will be live as soon as they are approved - ETA July 21, 2019.
Search from Toolbar The Safari extension now provides search and Autofill capabilities from the Toolbar menu.
Location of Popups Based on customer feedback, we have moved the "Prompt to Save", "Prompt to Fill", "Prompt to Change" and "Prompt to Login" dialogs to the top right section of the web browser window, instead of obstructing the view over the login form. You can customize the location and animation that is used when displaying the popup screens. Visit the Settings -> Prompt Appearance screen.
Right-Click Menu On Chrome, Firefox and Edge, you can now access many different and useful filling functions from the new Right-Click Menu. Fill logins, payment cards, addresses, and create new passwords with just one click. The Safari platform does not support this advanced capability, however we have added a right-click menu to activate the extension when it needs to be accessed.
Credit Card and Identity Info can now be filled on sites without the restriction of requiring a password stored for that site.
Autofill issues on several reported sites
Improvements to the Admin Console enforcement policy to disable KeeperFill on specific sites/domains
Improved checks to prevent ability to fill a password into a non-password field
Record moved into a shared folder not recognized by extension until logout/login
Creating new address or payment record not appearing immediately
The Safari extension shares many capabilities with Chrome, Firefox and Edge extensions. However, due to some limitations on Safari's platform, certain capabilities are not supported such as Right-Click menu customization.
