Importer Version 17.0.4

July 27, 2026

Overview

This release prioritizes long-term security and modernization by introducing quantum-resistant cryptography, providing post-quantum security that protects sensitive data against both current and future cryptographic threats — including harvest-now-decrypt-later attacks. This release also includes a migration to React 19. Alongside critical browser-specific fixes for Firefox, these updates streamline performance through dependency cleanup, memory management improvements, and a transition to more efficient libraries.

  • KPI-139: Added quantum-resistant cryptography (Kyber wrapping) to the transmission layer

Improvements

  • KPI-150: Refreshed localization strings by running the translation script

  • KPI-169: Refactored host-resolution logic in keeperhost.c from if-else strcmp chains to a Map lookup

  • KPI-162: Investigated and resolved importer errors affecting Pearson's import flow

  • KPI-168: Fixed NPM security vulnerabilities in importer dependencies
