# iOS Version 18.1.0

Released October 19, 2026

## Enhancements

#### Vault UI Refresh

* **iOS-7315**: The main vault screen has been completely redesigned. Filtering now lives directly on the vault screen instead of tucked away in the side menu, and the active filter name is shown right on the control so you always know what you're looking at. Your account controls, settings, and log out option have moved into a new avatar menu in the top right corner, which also gives you quick access to your profile and email, identity and payment information, deleted items, help, importing passwords, and switching between accounts. The updated floating create button puts New Record, New Folder, Shared Folder, Generate Password, Upload File, and Add Existing Record a single tap away. You can browse in folder view or list view, with numbered rows in list view, collapse and expand record type sections and have your choice remembered, and swipe on any record to delete it. On iOS 27 and later we also updated the drag and drop ability to be more performant with better indication of where you are dropping a folder or record.

* **iOS-7320**: Getting around Keeper is now faster. The items you reach for most often have moved out of the side menu and into the main toolbar. The bottom tab bar has updated dedicated options for your Vault, Two-factor codes, Security Audit, BreachWatch, and Search.

<figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2FWcNp52v6DKfRVw1ApDSW%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=f410d2a2-63cb-4a66-a922-96386410e7ce" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **iOS-8069**: The Two-Factor Codes screen has been rebuilt from the ground up. Each entry now shows the site icon, the site name, and your username alongside a large, easy-to-read code with a countdown ring so you always know how much time you have left. Tap the code to copy it, or use the eye icon to hide and show it. You can search within the screen to find what you need quickly, and the whole screen looks great in both light and dark mode.

<figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2FctUP3sU4wV43uupAF9D1%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=ba7729c7-9f98-470b-a6dc-fffda85a920b" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **iOS-8070**: The Security Audit screen has a fresh new look. A redesigned score card at the top shows your overall security score in an at-a-glance gauge, with a plain-language rating and a short explanation of what it means. Below it you'll find a clean summary of your account health, including whether you have a strong Master Password and an active two-factor method, along with live counts of any weak or reused passwords you should address. Tap any item to jump straight to the records that need attention, or use View All Records to browse and search everything at once. The screen also loads considerably faster if you have a large vault.

<div><figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2F2sxiWgwEr5syzddwZl9v%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=6dd7b52c-f546-4837-98c8-15016cd05a4c" alt="" width="200"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2Fpd1KWpJ7GWDywDBYsocZ%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=67e1e5e4-9d3c-424a-8449-6a044167160e" alt="" width="200"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* **iOS-8073**: Search has been redesigned and now opens straight from the bottom tab bar, ready to type with the keyboard already up. Before you type anything, you'll see your recently viewed records, each showing the title, username or masked card number, and where it lives in your vault along with how long ago you opened it. Small icons on each row tell you at a glance whether a record has two-factor enabled, is shared with someone, and what type of record it is. Results appear as you type, your search text is kept if you open a folder and come back, and records stored in more than one folder now show every location so you can tap through to the one you want.

<div><figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2FBidrj6eBgqz3sRMdI7xX%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=70529326-831b-4c65-95b9-85adf269c71b" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2Fiv3iYp2gWMWQr8T9vlGG%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=7bf0fb6f-10f0-47ed-bc74-f49dc9e41831" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* **iOS-7780**: Keeper now helps you discover what it can do. A new set of swipe-able cards at the top of your vault surfaces helpful tips and account information, and you can dismiss any card when you're done with it. Several screens that used to be empty now include a short animated walkthrough you can play right inside the app, covering passkeys, sharing, favorites, watch favorites, two-factor codes, and attachments. You can revisit all of these any time from the new Feature Guides option under Help.

<div><figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2FWi1HeAYdr1P6IKrxpgJp%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=a317a978-e5cc-4ffc-8ccd-4a735e396dbf" alt="" width="200"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2FQYEPIxRUPLeKc9tCfLeU%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=dbe5590d-a358-4618-a91b-eda769d66c79" alt="" width="200"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* **iOS-7716**: You can now see your vault's connection and sync status at a glance. On iOS 26.1 and later, a subtle animated indicator appears while Keeper is syncing in the background, and a separate offline indicator appears at the top of your vault whenever your device can't reach the internet. The two are visually distinct and never appear at the same time, so it's always clear whether Keeper is working on something or simply waiting for a connection.

<div><figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2FtOd5SPOTF0loFGuWPv7j%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=a719bd23-336d-401d-84de-fe4b43f35b59" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2Fpexd8xUYNAz9pfTHdszn%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=aa3098b8-0e69-45eb-a060-c61dd4005775" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* **iOS-8170**: Records you create or edit while offline now display a pending sync icon in your vault list and search results, so you always know which changes haven't made it to your other devices yet. The icon disappears on its own once you're back online and the record has synced, so your vault behaves the same way everywhere you use Keeper.
* **iOS-8197**: The sign-in screen now shows a loading indicator while Keeper is working, so you get clear feedback the moment you tap the button instead of wondering whether it registered.
* **iOS-8179**: Alphabetical sorting is now consistent between folder view and list view, so your records stay in the same order when you switch between them.

#### iPhone Duo Support

* Keeper now supports Apple's new iPhone Duo. The Vault interface has been optimized to take advantage of the expanded screen real estate when the device is open, allowing for a side-by-side view of your folders and records. The layout seamlessly transitions to a standard, easy-to-navigate view when the device is closed, ensuring your data is always perfectly formatted no matter how you use your phone.

<div><figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2F96O6WeDI92Zwcm2SJVSz%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=91060258-49ef-40c7-b3f2-39154259ab15" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2FxAw9aFX5yyQsdYTkXfRD%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=0588fb68-2c69-41ac-9bca-967cbff479be" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### KeeperFill

* **iOS-8204**: On iOS 26.2 and later, Keeper can now suggest a strong password right inside the password suggestion iOS shows you when you create an account, change a password, or reset one. In most cases Keeper then saves or updates the record for you without opening the full KeeperFill screen. If Keeper needs your input first, for example when more than one record could match or the record is one you can only view, it will ask you to confirm.
* **iOS-8201**: The KeeperFill screen now shows the website you're signing in to at the top, and each suggested record shows the site it matched, so you can see at a glance why Keeper suggested it.
* **iOS-8202**: If a record's title is a website address, such as care.com, Keeper can now suggest it for passwords and two-factor codes even when the website field is empty. *Passkeys aren't included in this matching yet.*
* **iOS-8199**: Keeper now keeps your records tidy when a website reports a change. If a supported site tells iOS that a passkey has been renamed, Keeper renames it on the matching record. If the site reports a passkey it no longer recognizes, Keeper removes it, and if it reports that a password is no longer in use, Keeper clears that password. It all happens quietly in the background, so there's nothing for you to do.
* **iOS-8122**: You can now switch between your Keeper accounts while creating, adding, or editing a passkey in KeeperFill, just like you already can everywhere else.

#### Files and Sharing

* **iOS-8103**: Keeper now appears as an "Add to Keeper" option in the action list of the iOS share sheet, not just in the row of app icons at the top. Tap it and you'll get a quick confirmation, then Keeper opens so you can add the item to a new or existing record. You can also now select and share multiple files at once. If you share something Keeper can't store, you'll be told right away, and when you share several items together, anything unsupported is simply skipped.

<div><figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2FVQpoV3GCo8YA2oS6wfcX%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=6265fbc7-c9a1-48e8-b0e2-91d545e622f5" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="https://1549319098-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-LSGErxSfzX6xZALob42%2Fuploads%2FJEvTXsKN1J6tOPNXrduG%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=a18e50f4-c27b-44cc-9219-2f62a289d427" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### **Nested Shared Folders**

* **iOS-8194**: You can now move nested shared folders to a new location using the move option, with your permissions respected so you'll only be able to move a folder into a place you're allowed to add to. Selecting a mix of shared folder types together isn't supported, and Keeper will let you know if you try.
* **iOS-8195**: You can now deny a person access to a specific folder even when they'd otherwise inherit access from a folder above it. This is a distinct action from removing someone's direct access, and anyone you've denied stays visible in the sharing list so you can grant them access again later if you change your mind.&#x20;

## Bugs

* **iOS-8203**: Corrected an issue where Keeper could match a website address too loosely and suggest a record that didn't belong to that site. Your KeeperFill suggestions are now matched more precisely, including on lookalike domains and subdomains.
* **iOS-8111**: Fixed an issue on iPadOS 26 where installing Keeper would quietly make it the default app for opening PDFs, images, videos, and photos taken straight from a camera. Keeper no longer takes over as the default for these file types, and still appears as an option in the share sheet and the Open With menu when you want to save a file to your vault.<br>

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.keeper.io/release-notes/mobile/apple-ios/ios-version-18.1.0.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
