This guide provides the setup, pairing and sharing instructions for Typer on Android mobile devices.
Setup
To use the Typer App, you must first complete the mobile and computer setup instructions below.
Mobile Android Device
From the Siemens Google Play Console, install the Siemens Typer App provided by your administrator.
Bluetooth must be enabled in order to use Typer. You may receive several prompts to allow this.
Windows or Linux Computer
Insert the Siemens peripheral into your Windows or Linux computer's USB port to perform the automatic setup which should only take a few seconds.
You will be notified once the automatic setup is complete (most devices).

Pairing
Next, you will need to use the Typer App to pair your Android device to the Siemens peripheral.
From your Android device, open the Typer App and enter the MAC address of your peripheral. You can do this by either entering it manually or by tapping Scan and using your device's camera to scan the QR code that is printed on your peripheral.
After tapping Scan, you will receive a prompt asking you to "Allow Typer to take pictures and record video".

Next, enter the password that is associated with the MAC address and tap Pair.
After tapping Pair, you will receive several prompts to allow location access.

Once paired, there will be an option to change the Typer Password.
You will receive a temporary notification at the bottom of your screen once the pairing is successful. Typer is now paired and ready to use with Keeper.

Share to the Typer App
You can now transmit record data from your Keeper Vault to the Typer app to autofill on your target Windows or Linux computer.
On your Android device, open the Keeper App. Select the record containing the data you would like to share to Typer and tap Share to Typer App.

Next, check the boxes next to the individual record fields that are displayed to select the data you want to share to Typer, then tap Next.
Typer will open and the data you selected will now appear in the "Enter text to send to device" field.

On your computer, navigate to the field or application you would like to fill with the data you sent to Typer, ensuring that your cursor is in the desired field.
From your Android device, tap Send.
