# Installeren voor Safari

Installatie- en gebruiksinstructies voor de KeeperFill-extensie in Safari.

### Safari

**(1)** Ga naar de onderstaande link om **Keeper for Safari** te downloaden vanuit de Mac App Store.

**(2)** Open uw Safari-browser en ga naar **Safari > Voorkeuren > Extensies.**

**(3)** Als u al een KeeperFill-extensie hebt, verwijdert u die.

**(4)** Activeer de nieuw gedownloade extensie Keeper Password Manager door het **selectievakje** in te schakelen.

**(5)** Op een gegeven moment wordt om machtigingen gevraagd. Selecteer “**Altijd toestaan op elke website**”, zodat Keeper werkt op de websites die u bezoekt.

**(6)** De KeeperFill-extensie zou nu in uw browserwerkbalk moeten staan. Het kan nodig zijn Safari opnieuw te starten voordat het Keeper-pictogram verschijnt.

**(7)** We raden aan de ingebouwde functies voor automatisch invullen van Safari uit te schakelen. Open **Safari > Voorkeuren > Automatisch invullen** en schakel “gebruikersnamen en wachtwoorden” uit.

Het is belangrijk Keeper op alle websites toe te staan. Die machtiging laat Keeper wachtwoorden automatisch invullen en opslaan op sites waarop u zich aanmeldt. Keeper is een zero-knowledge-product en monitort, bewaart of volgt geen site die u bezoekt, noch uw browsegeschiedenis. #### Problemen oplossen

Crash na installatie: als een gebruiker Keeper for Safari tegelijk op een M1-Mac en een Intel-Mac installeert via de Safari-functie “Delen tussen apparaten”, kan de volgende actie nodig zijn:

1. Open uw Safari-browser en ga naar **Safari > Voorkeuren > Extensies**.
2. Schakel de extensies Keeper for Safari uit en weer in.
3. Probeer Keeper opnieuw te starten.
