Overview

The Password Importer standalone executable has been improved to import passwords stored in the latest version of Chrome across Windows and macOS devices. For users on Microsoft Windows, customers may need to add an exclusion policy on their endpoint security software due to the method of password extraction.

Improvements

• KPI-133: Implemented new advanced import mechanism to migrate passwords from Google Chrome to Keeper.

User Experience

The Keeper Importer is accessed from the Web Vault > Settings > Import menu.

Standalone Executables

For the purpose of pre-installing the executable on end-user devices, the Keeper Administrator can optionally deploy the binaries using MDM or group policy.
