Importer Version 17.0.2

Released ETA Feb 15, 2026

Overview

The Password Importer standalone executable has been improved to import passwords stored in the latest version of Chrome across Windows and macOS devices. For users on Microsoft Windows, customers may need to add an exclusion policy on their endpoint security software due to the method of password extraction.

Improvements

  • KPI-141: Resolved an issue where Firefox 144.0 password imports showed garbled/encrypted characters.

  • KPI-142: Resolved an issue where Opera imports did not bring in records correctly.

  • KPI-147: Updated CI to prevent macOS build failures caused by deprecated macOS-13 GitHub Actions runners.

  • KPI-97: Fixed an AU-region issue that prevented browser password imports due to invalid import token validation.

  • KPI-145: Updated the Windows build to use the new EV code signing certificate.

  • KPI-146: Added support for the Gov Dev region.

  • KPI-148: Updated build tooling to version 7.5.4 to support production asset compilation.

  • KPI-149: Updated the Code Scanning page callout to display correctly.

Standalone Executables

For the purpose of pre-installing the executable on end-user devices, the Keeper Administrator can optionally deploy the binaries using MDM or group policy.
