# Free Family License for Personal Use
Business and Enterprise users can create a free Keeper Family Plan and easily switch between their business and personal Keeper accounts.
All Keeper Business and Enterprise users can create a free Keeper Family Plan for up to five family members with unlimited devices. Once the user sets up the Family Plan, each family member receives their own vault where they can easily share records with other members in their plan.

## Activate Your Free Family Plan License
1. Log into the [Keeper Web Vault](https://keepersecurity.com/vault) or [Desktop App](https://keepersecurity.com/download).
2. Click on your **email address** found in the top-right corner of your vault and select **Account**.
3. Enter your **personal email address** under "Keeper Family License for Personal Use" and click **Send Email**.

4. Switch to a personal device or log out of your Business vault by clicking on your email address and selecting **Logout**.
## Create Your Personal Keeper Account
Open the Keeper invitation sent to your personal email and click **Get Started** to be redirected to the Keeper Vault.

Create a Master Password for you personal Keeper account and click **Next** to log in.
#### Important Note About Data Center Location
If you follow the link sent on your desktop computer, you'll be properly routed to the same geographic data center that is associated with your Keeper Business Vault. If you prefer to create your account on a mobile device, be sure to select the correct Data Center location (more on this below).
#### Creating an Account on Mobile
If you'd like to create your personal account on an iOS or Android device, please note the Data Center location at the bottom of the screen. If you need to change it click on it to make a new selection.
Ensure that you are selecting the correct Data Center location. If you set up your personal Keeper account in the wrong region, you'll need to contact Keeper Support to delete and recreate your account.
#### Confirming License Activation
After your personal account has been created, it will appear as licensed in your Business vault under **Account > Subscription**.
#### Important Notes Regarding Your Personal Account
* Your linked personal account is licensed as a Keeper Family Plan account with 10GB of secure file storage and BreachWatch dark web monitoring.
* The company managing your Business vault does not have any access rights or ability to decrypt information stored in your personal vault.
* Your linked personal account will remain free on unlimited devices for as long as the business account is active.
* If you leave the business, or if the business does not renew its subscription with Keeper, you may continue to use your account for 30 days, after which it will expire and be converted to a free trial account. Contact Keeper to purchase a Family or Unlimited subscription for all of the premium features.
* If your administrator has disabled this feature, any family plans that were created previously will remain, with the current expiration date, and new family plans cannot be created.
* Your Business Administrator may remove the ability to share records with the business vault to the linked personal vault.

## Switching Between Your Personal & Business Vaults
Users can easily switch between their business/enterprise and personal accounts on Keeper for Web Vault, iOS and Android.
On Web Vault click on your **email address**, then select **Account**.
Click **Switch Account**.
Click **Switch** next to the account you would like to access. You will then be redirected to log into that account using your Master Password.

## Inviting Family Members
Once you have logged into your personal Keeper account, inviting family members (up to 5) to join is easy and can be done from Keeper Web, Desktop or mobile apps (iOS, Android).
Click on your **email address** and select **Account > Manage.**
Enter the email address of the person(s) you would like to invite to your Family Plan and click **Send**.
## Sharing Records & Folders
Once an invited family member has created their Keeper account, you can share records with them by creating a Shared Folder or by sharing individual records directly — and you can set permissions for each.

Share a record by selecting it and clicking **Share**.
Create a shared folder by clicking **Create New > Shared Folder.** Select a folder location from the dropdown menu, enter the shared folder name, set user and record permissions and click **Create**.
